eLong Membership and Loyalty Points Program

New Users

        • 1,000 points will be credited upon your first confirmed reservation.

Basic Points

        • For hotel booking: total room rate

        • For flight booking: total ticket price/4

        • No loyalty points for bookings made through "International Hotels" & "Extra Services" channels on eLong site.

Note: Total ticket price includes ticket fare, tax & fee, insurance/s for this flight bought from eLong

Booking Points


        Bookings made via phone:

        • eLong member: basic points X 1

        • VIP member: basic points X 1.5

        • Elite member: basic points X 2

        Bookings made via net:

        • eLong member: basic points X 2

        • VIP member: basic points X 3

        • Elite member: basic points X 4

Points Validity Period

        • For eLong members, the points will be valid for one year; and for VIP and Elite members, the points will be valid for 2 years.

        • Unclaimed points will be deducted at the end of the quarter after the expiration date; the points to be expired can be checked in "My Account".

Points to Be Credited

        • For hotel bookings, points will be credited after you check out and we get the confirmation from the hotel that you did stay in the hotel/s.

        • For flight bookings, points will be credited 24 hours after the booked flight departure.

Points Deduction

        • If you fail to show up for a booked room without prior cancellation, the corresponding points will be deducted from your account.

        • If you refund a ticket after the flight departure, the points earned for this ticket will be deducted.

Membership Upgrade

        • Members with 3,000 points will automatically become VIP members.

        • Members with 20,000 points will automatically become Elite members. During 2 years after you become Elite member, if another 20,000 points can't be accumulated, you will be automatically degraded to VIP member.

Note:

        • If a booking is once modified online or through phone, the points will be credited according to the final booking status.
        • After booking online, if modification happens for personal reasons through our call center, the points will be credited according to rules for bookings made through phone.
        • If one member has 2 or more eLong accounts, membership combination can be made. Except that the complimentary points for the first confirmed reservation, all of the other points in one account can be transferred to the other one. The points'expiration date will not be changed and one of the accounts will be deleted.
        • Within the law, eLong reserves the right of explanation, modification and revocation towards this policy.
