2.What? the credit card information required by eLong to pay your booking:
1) Card Type

3.What is CVV/CVC?
CVC (Card Verification Code) is an extra code put on the back of credit card (or the front of the card for AMEX). It is also called CVV (Card Verification Value). It is shown on the signature strip and is generally displayed italic font. The first 4 digits on the back of the credit card are credit card number, and last 3 are Verification Code. Please note that this Verification Code is not the password of your credit card.
4.Why does not eLong accept credit card with expiry date of current month?
According to bank regulations, payment can not be deducted if the credit card expires in current month. Please contact your bank directly for more details.
5.Why should I Contact the Bank self if the credit card verification fails?
Generally, if the transaction fails without eLong being able to systematically determine the reason, the bank will only permit the card holder to enquire and obtain a reason for the transaction failure... Such failed transaction may be caused by the following: 1) The card is applied with an additional information security program. 2) The credit card is frozen because it doesn? have sufficient funds for the transaction or the card has been used more than it? consumption frequency limit. 3) The credit card information that has been provided is not accurate or doesn? match the bank? records.
6.If I request a refund, how long does it take to be credited to my account?
Due to domestic bank financial regulations, it usually takes 5-20 business days for the domestic credit card to get the refund after eLong submitting the refund application. Restricted by settlement flows between collecting banks, issuing banks and international credit card organizations, it usually takes 30-40 business days for international credit card to get the refund after eLong submitting the refund application. If you fail to receive the money during the refund period, please contact us on a timely basis and we will try and follow-up with the bank.
7.How could I know if the money has been returned to my card?
You may confirm the refund by calling the customer service line of your card issuing bank or checking the transaction history of the bank statement.
8.Is it safe to use my credit card for payment on eLong?
We strictly follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard to store, handle and transmit customers?credit card information. We have selected and professional staff and standard handling procedures under monitoring. If you provide your credit card information on the phone, a phone call record will be kept. If you submit your information online, the credit card information and personal identifiable information are protected during transmission over the internet by the use of SSL encryption methods. You can check your credit card statement and contact us if the deducted amount does not consist with the practice. We will check and handle it in a timely manner.
